Protective Briefs with Snaps

I ordered a pair to try after having good success with both the lounge and pull-on style protective brief.
Overall the construction and materials are top notch! The color (Gotham) is cool too! I feel safe wearing these, and I have a dry bed to prove it :) I wanted something that looks more like a diaper (more familiar), and these deliver.
One of the two downsides I find is the more padding you add, the lower on my hips the diaper rides. I used the pads that came with it, and an extra booster pad from my regular protective briefs, and that seems to have been too much as the the diaper became a hip hugger instead of the higher rise I expected. The other downside is sizing: I ordered a medium, same as my other TA briefs, and the fit of this brief is just plain smaller (tighter and sorta less coverage). However, with this in mind, I'll consider a large next time in the hope it solves these problems.

This is the best product I have found for my problem. Have had issues for a long time and tried everything from cloth to disposable. These fit well and work for me for incontinence. Have another order on the way.

I like the athletic jersey that makes it not feel wet and I did find that one pocket with one pad held more than I was expecting, but that was still only a couple of hours.
The rise needs to be higher in order to accommodate more padding. 2 pockets each with one pad was not enough for a whole night for me, which was disappointing. If there were different length options for the padding, that would also make it better when using 2 pockets, as the edges get very abrupt, which makes it no where near discrete (although this isn’t much of a concern at night) and pulls extra on the waist band. The waistband for the small is listed as 27-30”, my natural waist is 27”, this sits closer to my hip bones, which is more than 27”, but it was too loose and leaked out the top. Considering that I am usually a medium in disposables, I know there are plenty of people smaller than me in need of this type of product, thus an XS size is needed. I happen to have KAM snaps and therefore added (and replaced) snaps to get it to fit. Even with just one pocket with just one pad, this isn’t discreete. I wouldn’t be able to wear this under most clothing out of the house, and certainly not under my scrubs for work. I think the non-snap version would be more discreete, but even still the edge of the padding in back, especially, which becomes a huge issue when needing more padding, is still part of the discreetness issue with just one pocket and pad. The edges on the outside on the snaps are a big visual point as well. If the fabric was folded in and top stitched over (or sewn right sides together, trimmed, then turned right side out and top stitched) then there would be no need for binding and the snaps could be *much, much* closer to the edge, allowing the edge to lay flatter and therefore the diaper to be more discreet. I had come up with the same concept (snap in pocket with added pads) with different execution, before finding Threaded Armor, and was really hopeful that these would work great so I wouldn’t have to make my own. I’ll likely get some Zorb and make my own pockets and pads that hopefully will absorb more while being thinner. I want to give it more stars, but considering it doesn’t actually work *for me* unless I want to change every 2-3 hours while awake and in my home only, in its current form, I don’t feel that I can. I am hopeful based on the current form that it *could* work for me if it were a bit different.
So improvements that I would love to see:
1. Size XS
2. Higher rise options (the more absorbent material you put in, the lower the waist becomes)
3. Snaps closer to edges of wings for increased discretion.
4. Padding that varies in length so more padding doesn’t cause a large cliff at the waistband.
5. Generally ability to accommodate more absorbent material.
6. Thinner material with increased absorbancy.
If any of these improvements are made available, I would love to be notified.
